As part of our tradition of giving back to our community, El Centro de Amistad hosts an annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and Adopt-A-Family campaign during the holiday season. Both of these campaigns are heartwarming initiatives aimed at bringing joy and hope to low-income families struggling with mental health issues. The campaigns seek to create a sense of community and support by providing essential resources and bringing festive cheer to families in need.
Thanksgiving Campaign– Our Thanksgiving Food Drive will run from October 2nd to Nov 17, 2023.
Adopt-A-Family Campaign– Our Adopt-A-Family Campaign will take place between November 1st to December 1st. For more information, please see our holiday flyers.
How to Get Involved:
Contribute Funds, Donate Thanksgiving Baskets, or $50 dollar gift cards, or contribute to our Adopt-A-Family campaign.
Spread the word by sharing information about the campaign through social media, local networks, and community organizations.
By coming together as a community, we can provide essential resources, emotional support, and a sense of belonging to those in need while spreading warmth and joy during the holiday season.
