For a family experiencing financial hardship, the holidays can be a difficult reminder of what they cannot afford. A Thanksgiving meal or gifts for their children may have to take a back seat to rent, utilities, groceries, and other necessities.
That’s where your generosity can make a difference. n.
Through El Centro de Amistad’s Thanksgiving “A Place at the Table” Campaign and Adopt-A-Family Campaign , your donation can help replace worry with relief and create moments of joy families will remember long after the holidays are over.
The Difference Your Gift Can Make
Imagine a mother working hard to keep up with bills while caring for her children. As the holidays approach, she worries there simply won’t be enough for a special meal or gifts. Then she learns that her family has been adopted. Suddenly, her children have something to look forward to, and she can breathe a little easier knowing that someone in her community cares.
For a family in need, a grocery gift card can put a holiday meal on the table. A gift from an Amazon Wish List can bring joy to a child. A monetary donation can help ECDA reach another family who needs support.
Thanksgiving: A Place at the Table
Our Thanksgiving Campaign runs through November 13, with family distribution on November 21. Help provide families with food and a $50 grocery gift card for their Thanksgiving meal.
Adopt-A-Family

You can also support either campaign by making a monetary donation, donating food or grocery gift cards, or sharing our campaigns with others.
This holiday season, your gift is more than a donation—it is relief for a parent, joy for a child, and a reminder to a family that their community cares.
Give hope. Share joy. Help make the holidays brighter for a family in our community.
