El Centro de Amistad is seeking a subcontractor that can provide food/meal food/meal resources/services to our underserved and at-risk families. The Subcontractor should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience providing food/meal resource/services.

In 1977, a group from the impoverished Canoga Park “Barrio” community, grew concerned about the needs of the predominantly Latino families that struggled with unemployment, crime, poverty and drug abuse. They were particularly concerned about the youth in the area.
