A Message from the Executive Director

As we step into this new fiscal year, I am filled with hope and determination for the road ahead. At El Centro de Amistad (ECDA), we remain steadfast in our mission to enrich the lives of individuals and families throughout the San Fernando Valley by providing high-quality mental health services and family support.

This year, our primary goal is to expand our reach and deepen our impact within the communities we serve. We recognize the increasing challenges that many of our neighbors face during these uncertain times, especially with a new government administration that introduces changes that directly affect our daily lives. At ECDA, we are committed to being a steadfast source of support, ensuring that our clients have access to the resources, education, and tools they need to navigate these changes with confidence.

One of our key priorities this year is to offer more workshops, provide basic needs, and deliver educational programs tailored to the unique needs of our clients and the broader community. These workshops will cover vital topics, including mental health awareness, financial literacy, parenting strategies, and tools for personal resilience. By addressing essential needs and empowering individuals through knowledge, we aim to foster a stronger, more connected community that can face challenges together.

Our work is guided by a vision of inclusivity, compassion, and hope. Every service we provide is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to the tools and support they need to thrive. Whether it’s through our mental health programs, family workshops, or community events, ECDA will continue to be a pillar of strength for those in need.

As we embark on this journey, I invite you to join us in making a difference. Together, we can ensure that every individual and family in our community has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Thank you for your ongoing support and belief in our mission. Let’s work together to make this year one of growth, resilience, and transformation.

With gratitude,

Luis Cervantes
